Spartan Studies Course Information
All incoming first-year students are enrolled inSpartan Studies coursesto aid in their transition to UT. Spartan Studies courses offer students opportunities to explore different interests and majors. Incoming transfer students register themselves for their first-semester schedule and can contact the Academic Advising Office (advising@ut.edu) to connect with the Transfer Coordinator and Advisor for registration assistance if they are exploring majors.
The Office of Career Services
Students are invited to unite their major andcareerexploration through self-assessment, career outlook information and other campus connections.

- CAR 201- Career Decision Making: This one-credit course is designed for first- and second-year students who have not declared a major or who are unsure of their declared major.
